The downfall of Tony Romo, and the Dallas Cowboys.

New year, same story. Tony Romo has a blonde bombshell at his side. Last year it was country sensation Carrie Underwood. This year, the brainless Jessica Simpson. Last year the Cowboys were having their first "good" season in a few years, in come the Eagles, in comes Underwood to the stadium to watch her man lead the Boys to victory.

Nope.

Cowboys lose the game. Romo has a bad game. The curse of Carrie Underwood. Fast forward to this year. The Cowboys are 12-1. Their only loss to the undefeated New England Patriots. The Boys are rolling along having already beaten their biggest threat in the NFC, the 12-2 Green Bay Packers. In comes Simpson with her head stuffed with fluff. Last week the Cowboys struggle against a sub-par Detroit Lions, having to rally in the last minute to win the game. Ok... we still won, but that was WAY too close.

Fast forward to yesterday. Cowboys v Eagles. Yes the Boys have wrapped up the NFC East and a first round bye in the playoffs, and they are off to the best start in franchise history, so all is good. But a win over the hated Eagles would be very sweet, a 13-1 record would be very sweet. A Texas Stadium without Jessica Simpson would be very sweet. But, no, like last year against the Eagles, Romo decides to bring the new girl to the game. The result?

The Cowboys dont even score a TD. They lose what should have been an easily won game. They lose their 7 game win steak and some serious motivation heading into the last 2 weeks of the season. They lose 10-6! 10-6? Thats a steroids era baseball score, not an NFL game between the Cowboys and the Eagles score!

Tony, ditch the bimbo and focus on winning a Super Bowl. You want your name in the Ring of Honor? Keep your dating in the off season, and maybe switch to brunettes.
