Life Update

Ok, sorry to make you faithful readers, Andrew and Shelly (anyone else out there?) wait a few days on my big announcement, but I just had to make sure before I said anything. No, we arent pregnant, dont worry, I would call about that, a simple blog post wouldnt be enough. I have taken a new job with a different landscape company that is in Cedar Park. I turned in my 2 weeks notice last week at Choate Irrigation, and will be starting at Native Land Design Monday the 26th.

More to come as I actually start the new job and have more details to give. Marleene and I will be taking a short trip out to Big Bend National Park late next week (Thursday-Saturday) for a little vacation. Look for pictures once we get back.

Recent Events

Not a whole lot to say this time, just thought I would share some pictures that I have taken over the past week or so. Look for some life updates next week.

Our Bradford's are blooming! They didn't bloom at all last year, so we are very glad to see them blooming this year. But we have found one thing odd about the blooms, they smell terrible! Sort of a muted dead fish smell. Kind of like the smell of an open can of sardines, its really bad, but at least they are pretty.

Yes the bug is running and has come home to Leander. Its not inspected or insured yet, but hey, its running and driveable. So one step at a time. And I have to give a huge "You're the best" to my wonderful and beautiful wife Marleene, she has been very sweet to let me bring this ol heap home and let it take up space in the garage, so Mar, you're the best!

Here is Zoe after having rolled around in the dirt because I put ear drops in her ears. She was so filthy she looked grey instead of black. It was one of the funniest things I have seen in a long time! That is one crazy, but happy dog.

Here is Zoe, the way we know her, black as night and goofy as can be. I cant help but laugh when I look at that dog! But she is the most loving and affectionate dog.

And then there's Maggie, usually very serious, I caught her with her guard down the other day, sticking her tongue out at her sister, shame shame.
Well, thats all for now, but like I said earlier, check back in later this week, there may be a big announcement.
